Month changes are a phishing calendar. The moment search pages say “October update,” clone operators publish a near-copy of a known onion with one swapped character and a headline that the old mirror “died on October 1.” On this desk, that claim is false for the markets we track: the stored hosts did not rotate.
Compare habit
- Open the market page on Dark Info, not a screenshot in a chat.
- Read the onion in chunks of eight characters. A single mismatch in the middle is a different host.
- Prefer a PGP-signed mirror list over any clearnet article, including ours, when the two disagree.
- Ignore accounts that offer to “walk you in” or refund a deposit. That pattern is unchanged from the July scam note.
